I don’t usually get this hyped about a mixtape but with previews like this, who wouldn’t? Listen closely and indulge in reality, my friends..
It’s rare the radio will ever play a song worthy of being called hip-hop. I heard this on my way back home from picking up two 5 - hour energies. It’s going to be a long night but this song got me pumped to study and finish my work. I look forward to Kendrick Lamar’s first album coming out.. IMO, one of the best upcoming rappers.
Essence
What makes a girl different from the other girls?
Essence.
All girls may have on the same perfume. But my girl still smells different. A combined plethora of natural skin oils and her hair brushing my face. The raw chemical balance between the sweet perfume and her pheromones. Essence.
All girls may wear the same make up. All girls may have on the same outfit. But I would still choose my girl. She can wear the same outfit and still make it look better than the others. Better to the point where I don’t even notice other girls having the same outfit on in the first place. Essence.
It’s just those little things that count. Maybe guys get tired of their girls because of their failure of capturing that essence. Simply put, that distinct characteristic that made them go crazy in the beginning of the relationship. Am I tired? 3 years and running.. yeah, a rhetorical question.

No, I am not an overachiever.. I just enjoy playing it safe. =)
It’s my last quarter at UCI and it’s been quite the ride. Technically I didnt have to come back to Irvine this spring quarter. I couldve just stayed home until I march in the graduation ceremony in June but I still have to take those grad school prerequisite courses. The uncertainty of the future leaves me worried and stress, especially with a decision still left to be made that can drastically affect my life for the upcoming months. I might as well savor every piece left of my college life..
ANDREW BYNUM IS GARBAGE!
When are Laker fans going to learn how little Bynum contributes to the Lakers. OK, he’s been showing a little bit of consistency lately but honestly, he is OVERPAID and OVERRATED! I’m not a Laker hater. I’m just being a hater towards ignorant and oblivious fans saying he’s going to come back after injury, give him time to build potential, he’s still young, etc. He is the most overhyped center in NBA history IMO. It’s already given that religious team fans will defend players, but give it a rest. The Lakers are better without him on the court.
I remember reading that Bynum was given a $58 million dollar extension 3 years ago meaning he’ll be playing until the 2012-2013 season. You got to be f**king kidding me! Too much money and not enough success
Btw, that 2 game suspension on Bynum was ridiculously small! I see these comments saying “Yeah, Beasley deserved it” or “Bynum should show them he ain’t no punk” or “NOT IN OUR HOUSE!” Yeah good job to the Lakers on playing dirty when things don’t go their way. Bynum was mad and deep down true Laker fans know they just witnessed their center display a great example of bitch-assness. It’s quite upsetting to see Laker fans applaud this. Yeah, what if Beasley injured his spinal cord. Where would that hard attitude be now? Admit it, this was just wrong. Bynum = GARBAGE.

Does the connotation of being a “NERD” appeal to you so much that you have to act a certain way? It’s a stupid trend if you really think about it.. Suddenly it’s all cool to call yourself a nerd and dress accordingly to how “nerds” dress. The very reason it’s a trend is because originally people WANTED to be smart but couldn’t do so. They compensate for such lack of wisdom through physical appearance adjustments. Being smart and educated is NOT a trend. It’s a requirement to survive the ignorance that pollutes this world. If you want to be a nerd, educate yourself or find something your passionate about and excel at that at least. Take off the non-prescription glasses and GET OVER YOURSELF!
